What this site is

It matters because the licensing, insurance and workmanship are the contractor's, and you should confirm those directly with whoever turns up rather than assuming this site has checked them.
What should I ask a contractor before work starts?
Ask for current public liability insurance and workers compensation cover, and for the qualifications of whoever is doing the cutting. Ask who is responsible if a limb damages your roof or a neighbour's fence. Ask for the quote in writing with the trees identified and the debris arrangement stated. A contractor who will not provide those is telling you something.
