Get a free quote on your tree job

Phone any hour for storm work, or send the details through and we will arrange a look at it.

Phone

The fastest route for anything urgent is the phone: (02) 9000 1858. Trees on roofs, limbs loaded onto a structure and blocked driveways are triaged by risk and handled around the clock.

If a wire is involved, call Ausgrid rather than a tree company and treat every downed line as live. If anyone is hurt or there is a fire, call triple zero first. More on how storm jobs are prioritised is on the emergency page.

Quote form

The quote form is on this page below. Fill in as much detail as you can about the tree, the access and what is underneath it — the more specific it is, the more useful the first reply will be. Photographs speed everything up.

Where the office is

16 Waratah Street, Mona Vale NSW 2103, which sits roughly at the midpoint of the peninsula. Work is arranged across the whole Northern Beaches area, from Manly and Balgowlah through to Palm Beach, and west to Terrey Hills and Frenchs Forest. The suburb-by-suburb breakdown is on the service areas page.

Before you book anyone

This site arranges referrals to independent contractors and does not verify their licensing, insurance or certification. Ask the contractor directly for current public liability cover and for the qualifications of whoever will be cutting, and get the quote in writing with the trees identified and the debris arrangement spelled out. The reasoning behind that is set out on the about page and in full in the disclaimer.

What you might be after

Tree removal · lopping and pruning · stump grinding · palm removal · hedge trimming · storm response. If you are trying to work out a budget first, the cost guide explains what moves a quote.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

What information should I have ready?

The address, a rough height for the tree measured against something known like the roofline, what sits underneath it, and what access looks like from the street. A couple of photos help enormously, including one showing the whole tree and one taken at the base. With that, most jobs can be scoped before anyone drives out.

Do I need to be home for the quote?

Not for a straightforward job in an open yard with gate access. For anything on a slope, over a roof or pool, close to a boundary, or where council approval may be needed, it is better if you are there so the access route and the drop zone can be agreed on the spot rather than debated on the day.

Is the quote really free?

Yes, and there is no obligation to book. A quote costs a site visit and nothing else. If the answer is that the tree does not need the work you were thinking about, or that it needs council approval you do not have yet, you will be told that rather than sold something.

What hours can I call?

The number is answered around the clock for emergency and storm work, which is the only hours claim the business publishes. For ordinary quotes and bookings, calling during business hours will get you a faster result, because that is when crews are being scheduled and site visits are being arranged.
